Custom domain

Custom Domain

This section allows you to configure a custom domain for your account, enabling you to brand your workspace with your own web address. For example, instead of accessing your account at  v3.project.co  you could access it at  projects.example.com
This feature provides a white-labeled experience, meaning your clients and team members will access your account through your chosen domain.

How Custom Domains Work

When you set up a custom domain, your account becomes accessible via your unique web address instead of the default  Project.co  URL. This creates a seamless and professional experience for anyone interacting with your account.

Domain

This field is where you enter the custom domain you wish to use for your account.
  • Input Field: Enter your desired custom domain.
  • Format: The domain must be a valid web address, for example, yourcompany.com. Do not include http:// or https:// prefixes.
  • Character Limit: The domain name can be up to 140 characters long.
  • Delete Icon: If a custom domain is already set, a delete icon is visible next to the input field. Clicking this icon removes the custom domain from your account.

DNS Setup

After entering your custom domain, you must configure your DNS (Domain Name System) records to point your domain to  Project.co . Specific instructions for creating your DNS records with your domain name and a provided IP address will be displayed after you save your domain name.
  • Re-check Status: If your DNS is not yet configured, a "Re-check status" option is available to verify your DNS settings after you have made changes.
