The Project Cards View presents each of your projects as a distinct card, arranged in a masonry layout. This view offers a more visual and less dense display compared to the List View, making it ideal for quickly grasping key project information and for visual browsing.
Each card in the Project Cards View provides a summary of a project, typically including:
- The title of the project is prominently displayed on the card.
- If an image is associated with the project, it is featured on the card, providing a visual identifier.
- Icons indicate the project's privacy setting, showing whether it's accessible to "Internal Team & Invited People" or "Invited People Only."
- Any custom fields applied to the project are visible, often as colored labels or tags, allowing for quick categorization.
- Profile pictures of the individuals assigned to the project are displayed, giving you an immediate sense of who is involved.
- The project's start and end dates are shown, providing a timeline overview.
- The current status of the project is indicated, such as "Open" or "Closed," often with a color cue for quick recognition.
- A small red bubble with a number appears on the card if there are unread comments or notifications related to that project, alerting you to new activity.
The Project Cards View allows for interactive management and navigation of your projects:
- Clicking on any project card will take you directly to the detailed home page for that specific project, where you can access all its features and information.
- A search input field is available specifically for filtering project cards. You can type keywords to quickly narrow down the displayed projects based on their names or other relevant information.
- You can use the "Filter" button to open a popup that allows you to apply more advanced filters based on project privacy, assigned people, and project status, affecting all projects displayed in the Cards View.
- The "Sort" button opens a popup where you can choose various criteria to sort your projects, such as by name, creation date, or other custom fields, and specify the order (ascending or descending).
