The Project List View provides a comprehensive, row-by-row display of all projects accessible to you. This view is designed for efficient scanning and detailed review of project information.
Each row in the Project List View represents a single project and displays the following information:
- The name of the project is prominently displayed. Clicking on the project name navigates you directly to that project's home page.
- Icons indicate the project's privacy setting.
- An icon with multiple users indicates the project is visible to "Internal Team & Invited People."
- An icon with a single user indicates the project is visible to "Invited People Only."
- Any custom fields associated with the project are displayed. These appear as colored tags with the custom field option's name.
- Profile images of people assigned to the project are shown. If there are more assigned people than can be displayed, a count indicates the additional members. If no one is assigned, an icon prompts you to assign people.
- The project's start and end dates are displayed. These dates can be edited directly within the list view if you have the necessary permissions.
- The project's current status is clearly indicated. "Open" projects are shown in green, and "Closed" projects are shown in red.
- If a project has an associated image, it is displayed.
- A red bubble appears with a number if there are unread comments on the project, indicating new activity.
The Project List View allows for several interactions to manage and navigate your projects:
- Click on the project name to go directly to the detailed home page for that specific project.
- When you hover over a project row, an "Edit" icon appears. Clicking this icon allows you to edit the project's details, provided you have the necessary permissions.
- When you hover over a project row, an "External Link" icon appears. Clicking this icon opens the project in a new browser tab or window.
- If a project is designated as a template, a "Create Project From Template" button appears when you hover over its row. Clicking this button initiates the process of creating a new project based on that template.
- A "Filter" button is available, which opens a popup. Within this popup, you can apply filters based on project privacy, assigned people, and project status to narrow down the list of displayed projects.
- A "Sort" button is available, which opens a popup. Within this popup, you can choose how to sort your projects, such as by name, date, or other criteria, and specify the sort order (ascending or descending).
- A "Project - Group" button displays the current grouping status. Clicking this button opens a menu where you can select custom fields to group your projects, organizing them into sections based on the chosen field's values.
- A search input field is available to quickly find projects by name.
- For grouped lists, a "Hide List" option is available to collapse or expand sections, allowing you to focus on specific groups or hide those you do not need to see.
