Project Calendar View

The Project Calendar View provides a chronological display of your projects, allowing you to visualize their timelines and deadlines within a calendar format. This view is particularly useful for understanding project schedules, managing deadlines, and planning resources over time.

What You See in Project Calendar View

The Calendar View presents your projects on an interactive calendar grid.
  • Project Entries: Each project appears as an event on the calendar, typically spanning its start and end dates. Key information like the project name is visible directly on the calendar entry.
  • Navigation Controls:
  • Current View Title: A central display shows the current month or week you are viewing.
  • "Back" and "Forward" Buttons: These buttons allow you to navigate backward and forward through time, moving one month or one week at a time, depending on your selected view.
  • "Today" Button: This button quickly returns the calendar to the current date.
  • View Selection Buttons: Buttons labeled "Month" and "Week" allow you to switch between a monthly and a weekly calendar display.

What You Can Do in Project Calendar View

The Project Calendar View offers several interactive features to help you manage your project timelines:
  • Navigate Through Dates: Use the "Back" and "Forward" buttons to move through the calendar month by month or week by week. The "Today" button instantly brings you back to the current date.
  • Change Calendar Granularity: Switch between a "Month" view, which shows a full month at a glance, and a "Week" view, which provides a more detailed look at a single week.
  • Filter Projects: A "Filter" button is available, which opens a popup. Within this popup, you can apply filters based on project privacy, assigned people, and project status to narrow down the projects displayed on the calendar.
  • Search Projects: A search input field is available specifically for filtering projects within the calendar view by name or other relevant keywords.
