The scheduler view shows all content on a horizontal timeline with resource grouping at the left hand side:

This is great for seeing a timeline of events across different resources.
This view is currently available for projects where it shows the start date and deadline of each project, and tasks where it shows the start date and due date of each task.
You can click and drag an event to change its dates. For example, if you click and drag a task to a different date range then the start date and due date of the task will update automatically.
For events that span multiple dates you can click the right hand side of the event and drag to the left to reduce the length of the event. When you do this the deadline or due date will change accordingly.
If you click an event the project or task will open.
You can use the Filtering, sorting & grouping buttons above the view to define what data shows in the scheduler. For example, you can change the grouping options to show different groups at the left hand side of the scheduler:

If you filter, sort and group the scheduler view and get to some settings you like you can use Saved page settings to save the view so that every time you come back to this page it shows with the same settings.
